As you all may know, the moratorium for evictions ended at the beginning of September. Many families may be affected due to this moratorium, so we are including information about Eviction Prevention services.
See below for information on the Denver Department of Housing Stability (HOST) Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP). Rent and utility assistance is available to households who meet income guidelines and can self-certify that one or more individuals in the household qualifies for unemployment or has experienced a reduction in household income, incurred significant costs, or experienced a financial hardship due directly or indirectly to COVID-19. Households may be eligible for up to 15 months of rent assistance. Immigration status and landlord participation are not required. Households in need of assistance can apply at Denvergov.org/RentAssistance or call 1-844-926-6632 with questions. HOST also contracts with nonprofit partners to provide eviction legal assistance to Denver households who meet income guidelines, as well as seniors, without regard to income.
