Hello Marie L. Greenwood Families,
I hope you and your family are well during these challenging times.
I am writing to provide you an update to our school calendar for the week of February 15 – 19. Please review the dates below as they have changed recently.
Here is the most up to date information on our schedule:
Monday, February 15
– There is no school on this day in observance of Presidents Day.
Tuesday, February 16
– There is no school on this day across DPS due to a scheduled Teacher Planning Day.
Wednesday, February 17 (New Information)
– There will be no in-person learning on this day. Students will be given assignments to complete and return on Thursday, February 17. We will not have in-person learning or virtual learning on this day. Our school staff will be among the first to get the opportunity to receive a COVID-19 vaccination through DPS’ partnership with Children’s Hospital Colorado. In an effort to minimize disruptions to student learning and maximize the efficiency of the vaccination process, each school will be assigned a day when ideally all staff who want to receive a vaccine can do so. We’re pleased that the COVID-19 vaccine has become available to our educators much sooner than anticipated, and we apologize for the inconvenience that this shift in schedule may cause for our families on such short notice.
