7th Grade Science
Here's to a most excellent year ahead at Greenwood teaching 7th grade science! I was originally born in the Philippines, and my family emigrated from there when I was young. I grew up in Maryland, then completed my undergraduate studies (physics) at Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota. Being a teaching assistant for physics classes got me thinking of different careers beyond research, so right after graduating, I moved to Colorado to begin my teaching career through a teaching residency with the Relay Graduate School of Education in Denver. Now entering my second year in teaching, I'm on track to complete my Masters of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) at the end of next year!
When off-duty, I enjoy watching concerts and shows downtown (like plays, musicals, the Colorado Symphony), cooking, watching films, and exploring anything new to listen to. I'm trying out newer things like writing and some personal art projects, and want to get back to doing some amateur astronomy. I also hope to travel more around the city and outside around Colorado. So much more to experience…
