Hi, My name is Lily Kellogg. I've been the school psychologist at Greenwood for 10 years. I love working with all the students and finding ways to help them be more successful, whether they are trying to work out a social issue or a math problem or pass an AR test. I started my career as a licensed public school teacher in Vermont teaching mostly first and second grades. Then I went into private education in Scotland and then in Denver where I worked as a classroom teacher, music teacher, high school administrator, counselor, and special educator. As a licensed school psychologist I love helping students develop self-control, healthy friendships, academic success and acquire the tools they need to keep themselves and other safe. In my free time I love to garden, do yoga, exercise class and jog, and when I get around water, sail or canoe. I grew up taking care of and riding horses and sailing boats on the east coast. I've lived in Colorado since 1989. I met my husband within a month of coming to Denver and we've been happily married since 1993!

Mary Ann Bash
Each One Teach One
After 46 years of teaching 44 in Denver Public Schools and 9 at Marie L. Greenwood, Mrs. Bash still jumps out of bed to get to work. She created Each One Teach One: No More Gap in 2004 to prove the power and joy of learning sophisticated vocabulary to increase literacy achievement, students confidence and meaningful family engagement. With limited time during the school day, Mrs. Bash answered students pleas for after-school Horticulture/Cooking/Biking Club to demonstrate that words and learning are free, ubiquitous and fun. EOTO Summer Program is so popular, students call it Summer Camp. In 2016, Mrs. Bash invited EOTO 4th and 5th graders to study 104-year-old Mrs. Greenwoods autobiography and documentary to become Marie L. Greenwood Scholars to pass on her amazing legacy to small groups of students and adults. Mrs. Bash and her husband of 42 years are inveterate travelers 6 continents so far. She loves exploring Singapore, Alaska and Denver with her 4 young grandchildren, swimming, hiking tall mountains, reading and enjoying beautiful music and art.

I'm an avid Yankees fan, but I'll admit, the Rockies are growing on me. I enjoy traveling, DIY projects, cooking, and playing with my dog.
I graduated with my Bachelors degree in Early Childhood and Childhood Education from the State University of New York at Potsdam in 2014. Soon after, I obtained my Masters degree in Special Education and Literacy from the State University of New York at Albany. I spent two years teaching special education in New York before moving to Killeen, Texas with my fiancé, Josh. 7th Grade language Arts
Hello! I am so excited and honored to join the Greenwood team as the 7th grade Language Arts teacher. I am originally from sunny and scorching Phoenix, Arizona, but I have called Colorado home the last six years. In 2012, I moved to Boulder, Colorado to attend University of Colorado Boulder. I graduated from CU with my B.A. in English, my teaching license in K-6 Elementary Education, and my endorsement to teach 7-12 English Language Arts. Go Buffs! This will be my first year teaching in DPS and I am very grateful for the opportunity. Last year, I privately taught three home-schooled students; this year, I am so thrilled to be working and learning with the 7th graders at Greenwood! Moreover, I can’t wait to have fun! As an English teacher, I am most passionate about thinking critically, whether it is about literature, film, speech, or music. Outside of school, I love to cook and explore new restaurants, go to concerts, watch (and analyze) movies, and spend time with my friends and cat, Honey. I am overjoyed to be a part of the Greenwood community, and I look forward to a wonderful year with you!
